Munters’ rental service in Japan attracts big customers

We recently ran a campaign in Japan to promote our rental service. The result was an increase in sales from 50 to 80% with many large companies signing up to rent equipment on a short-term basis.

During the summer months, many companies in Japan struggle with moisture and the result this has on their business.

Our rental solutions are used by many large companies for a wide variety of applications, including rust protection, sandblasting and condensation control.

The service gives customers the possibility to rent energy-efficient dehumidifiers and air treatment solutions on a flexible short-term basis, as long as they need them, without the long-term commitment.

An example of its use is when an art gallery rented a dehumidifier to stop copy paper from jamming when the humidity reached more than 80%. Other companies have used our rental service to prevent corrosion of conveyor belts or to combat condensation in refrigerators.
