One of the largest fish groups A. Espersen A / S in Ronne, saw how IceDry has clearly improved conditions in their freezer area.
Informações gerais
- Reduced need for defrosting
- No ice on the ceilings, floors and products
- No wet, slippery and dangerous floors
- Reduced ice build-up on evaporators
Previously, there was ice on the goods stored on the floor and the ceiling and there were large ice build-ups in and around the evaporators. Frequent defrosting was required to reduce the amount of ice and to provide a reasonable cooling effect. In this compartment smaller quantities of goods are stored in short period, and the frequent passage in and out of the room allowed moist air from to enter inside the the compartment. A.Espersen A / S would no longer accept these problems in the freezer compartment and so the company contacted Munters. We proposed a dehumidification system with a IceDry dehumidifier, which now creates a zone of dry air in the port area and thus limits the penetration of moist outside air. The results were apparent: After a short time the difference was both noticeable and visible. The need for defrosting decreased drastically, so the frequency of defrosts today has more than halved. The unwanted ice on the products, on the ceiling and on the floor has disappeared. The conditions in this compartment has improved so much that A. Espersen A / S currently installing a second desiccant elsewhere in the company where similar problems occur.
