Typically European Space Agency (ESA) shaker tables are used to replicate the take-off vibrations of a satellite-lifting rocket. One of the major risks faced by a satellite launch stems is from the high level of vibration during launch.
The ESA shaker table (a.k.a. “Hydra”) is featured in this article testing a Oasis® 8-ton DCIE unit, undergoing a simulated earthquake – while blasting a chilly wave of air towards the engineer observing the test.

The Oasis Indirect Evaporative Cooling unit was put through and successfully cleared 5 stages of the ESA testing. R2, R4, R6, R8 & R10.
The video below is footage of the shaker test while enduring a simulated 8 magnitude great earthquake. To give perspective, an earthquake at this magnitude, can destroy communities near the epicenter. Watch the video of the test below, courtesy of the ESA.
