Sustainability is at the heart of our operations. We contribute to sustainable development through our offering of energy-efficient climate solutions. We ensure the sustainability of our business by setting ambitious goals, not only financial but also regarding emissions reduction, resource efficiency, diversity, safety, and ethical business practices.

Resource efficiency and environment

Munters aims to offer sustainable products, solutions, and services that enable our customers to improve their resource and energy efficiency. We strive for reduced emissions and a smaller climate footprint throughout our value chain.

People and society

Munters strive to operate in a just and inclusive way to continuously create engagement. Diversity gives us perspective and valuable insight. We work collaboratively to benefit our local communities.

Responsible business practices

Munters strive to be sustainable and profitable in order to create value for our stakeholders. We should be reliable and strengthen our relationships with all stakeholders by acting ethically. We require those we cooperate with to comply with the same ethical guidelines we follow.

We are accelerating our sustainability agenda

To accelerate our work in this area, we have committed to setting near-term company-wide emission reductions in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). By committing to this important initiative, we will have our previously set targets for Scope 1 and 2 validated and set new targets for Scope 3.

Strategic targets for 2030:

Reduce CO2e emissions in Scope 1 and 2 to net zero
Reduce CO2e emissions in Scope 3 in line with the Paris Agreement's 1.5°C target
Have 30% women in the workforce and leadership positions
Have all our employees complete our Code of Conduct training at least every other year
Have all our major suppliers sign and comply with our Code of Conduct
Have an increasing number of customers sign and comply with our Code of Conduct
