Society and people
We believe employee engagement is the foundation of business success. A diverse and inclusive workplace unlocks innovation. Fostering a workplace culture that recognizes different viewpoints, promotes collaboration, and supports opportunities for personal growth creates more value for our customers’ businesses and our own. Employee health and well-being are essential, and we aim to achieve a zero-accident workplace. Through collaborative efforts, we actively contribute to the betterment of our local communities.

Employee relations and dialogue
At Munters, we build our employee relations on trust, transparency, and early involvement. We keep open talks with workers' councils, unions, and employee representatives. This helps us include their views in our decisions. Regular feedback, like our annual Employee Voice Survey, helps improve teams. It also supports a culture of ongoing development. Ongoing communication, training, and engagement across all levels contribute to a collaborative and inclusive workplace environment.

Health and safety
We promote a culture of safety excellence through strong leadership, education, and proactive initiatives across all organizational levels. Our commitment includes systematic risk assessments, incident reporting, and continuous improvement through programs like the Safety Training Observation Program (STOP). We follow international standards. Several of our sites are certified under ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001. We aim for triple certification at all our manufacturing sites. Through clear responsibilities, local accountability, and wellness support, we prioritize the health and safety of every employee.

Diversity and inclusion
We are dedicated to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. We want everyone—no matter their gender, ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation, or background—to feel valued and respected. We actively track and promote gender diversity, tying leadership diversity goals to our Long-Term Incentive Program. Through initiatives like inclusive recruitment, unconscious bias training, employee resource groups, and clear anti-discrimination policies, we aim to build a culture that drives innovation and reflects our values. Regular feedback and defined targets help us continuously improve and ensure every employee has the opportunity to thrive.

Human rights policy
At the end of 2024, we initiated a new Human Rights Policy to support and protect human rights across our global operations and business relationships. This policy emphasizes dignity, equality, and well-being for employees, partners, and communities. It addresses issues like child labor, forced labor, migrant workers' rights, health and safety, non-discrimination, and indigenous rights, while also considering working hours, wages, and community engagement.

Career and work-life balance
We support employee growth through clear goal setting, continuous feedback, and meaningful career dialogues. Our development process includes regular check-ins and talent planning. We also offer chances to build skills that match personal and professional goals. We provide many learning experiences. These include e-learning, mentorship, specialized training, and leadership development. Our goal is to help our people grow. We want them to lead with innovation, accountability, collaboration, and trust. To support work-life balance and gender fairness, we encourage fair use of family leave. This includes maternity, paternity, and parental leave, based on local rules. Tools like Workday help us enhance engagement and provide ongoing access to learning and development resources.
