Extend the lifetime of your dehumidifier
Convert controls on older Munters air treatment equipment for enhanced energy efficiency and a range of flexible options. The Munters Climatix Control System, standard for larger dehumidifiers, is available for existing systems.
Our controller conversion kits are manufactured on demand to fit the specific configuration of your unit(s), which implies some lead time. Munters recommends early preventative action to convert aging controls to minimize the risk of unplanned downtime in case of a sudden controller breakdown.

ML2E control conversion to AirC400
If you own a ML dehumidifier* delivered from 1996–2023, Munters suggests you take preventative action and convert your well-functioning ML dehumidifier with a new AirC400 controller.
The equipped PCB control module is obsolete, and no direct replacement is available if it breaks down. To avoid unplanned downtime and extend the lifetime of your ML unit, Munters recommends that you convert your control system with our ML2E series AirC400 conversion kit.

ML2E control conversion to Climatix
If you own a ML dehumidifier or a ML Plus system with a dehumidifier
module* delivered from 1996–2023, Munters suggests you take preventative action and convert your well-functioning ML dehumidifier with a new, advanced Climatix controller.
The equipped PCB control module is obsolete, and no direct replacement is available if it breaks down. To avoid unplanned downtime and extend the lifetime of your ML unit, Munters recommends that you convert your control system with our ML2E series Climatix conversion kit.
*This conversion kit is designed for ML420E, MLT800E, ML690E, ML1100E,
ML1350E and MLT1400E units delivered from 1996 – 2023.
ML3* control conversion to Climatix
If you own a ML dehumidifier* manufactured between 2005–2015 then Munters suggests you take preventative action and convert your well-functioning ML dehumidifier with a new Climatix controller.
The equipped ACD/ICD controller is obsolete, and no one on one replacement is available if it breaks down. Munters recommends you convert your control system and extend the lifetime of your ML units.
*This conversion kit can be used with ML17, ML23 and MLT30
MX conversion to Climatix
Boost your MX dehumidifier's performance with a new Climatix controller. Operating reliably for over twenty years, the MX series with integrated DDC control provides various upgrade options.
Since the DDC controller can no longer be replaced due to outdated components, we recommend you to convert the controller with conversion kit, made to fit the specific configuration of your MX unit. The conversion kit is made on demand and requires some lead time, so make sure to plan for the intervention to avoid downtime in case of a sudden controller breakdown.
Mars/Wrigley Confectionary Yorkville, Illinois, had Munters do an Allen Bradley MicroLogix 1000 retrofit to the Allen Bradley MicroLogix 1200 PLC. The change went smoothly and the unit is now operating 24/7 as required.
