Time Magazine and Statista name Munters a top 500 company in Sustainable Growth

Munters has been named one of TIME Magazine’s 500 Best Companies in Sustainable Growth. This recognition highlights businesses that are succeeding financially while making a positive difference for the planet.

Selected achievements: 

• Workplace accidents have consecutively decreased even as worked hours increased, bringing us closer to our long-term target of zero accidents in production. This improvement is attributed to key initiatives like the continued global rollout of the established Safety Observation Program (STOP), which has enhanced safety in our factories.  

• In 2023, we achieved 80% renewable electricity - meeting our target two years ahead of schedule. Our new goal is 100% renewable electricity by 2030. 

• In 2023, we achieved a 7% absolute reduction in water usage in cubic meters, while also decreasing water consumption relative to turnover, supporting our water conservation goals.  

• In 2024, we mapped our Scope 3 emissions and committed to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). 

• During 2024, we updated our ESG targets for 2030 to include CO2 reductions scientifically aligned with the Paris Agreement 1.5C target, gender equity with 30% women leaders and in the workforce, and continuous improvements in compliance with Munters Codes of Conduct.
